Should You Have a Tonneau Cover?

Pickup truck owners have long debated whether or not to cover their open beds. Using a tonneau cover (tonneau refers to the rear of a vehicle where passengers would ride) depends upon how you use your truck.

If you mainly commute in your truck, a rigid one-piece cover is a good idea--it keeps the bed cleaner and weather-protected, as well as provides security for your valuables and possibly increases your fuel efficiency. Trucks that are primarily used for work or hauling may not benefit from their beds being covered, due to the necessity of having to remove the cover on a frequent basis, which can be difficult with one-piece covers. Soft bed covers, however, provide protection and easy removal.

Halladay Nissan's service department in Cheyenne can answer your questions about all types of tonneau covers--visit them today!
